life science research companies to thousands of eligible participants to take part in their studies. Our
Mission is to equip researchers with the digital tools they need to carry out remote research studies
starting in Africa.
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Associate to join our team. As a
Business Development Associate, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by conducting
market research, identifying potential customers, and maintaining relationships with clients. Your primary
responsibility will be to generate high-quality leads, nurture relationships, and keep track of client
interactions to facilitate successful customer acquisition.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customer
segments, industry trends, and market opportunities. Stay updated on the latest developments in
the healthcare and clinical research sectors.
2. Lead Generation: Utilize various research methods, including online research, industry
directories, and networking, to identify and generate leads. Qualify leads based on predefined
criteria to ensure they align with our target market.
3. Prospecting: Reach out to potential customers through cold calling, email outreach, social
media, and other channels. Present our company's value proposition and offerings to generate
interest and engage prospects.
4. Relationship Building: Nurture relationships with leads through regular follow-ups, engaging in
meaningful conversations, and providing relevant information about our services. Build rapport
and trust with prospects to move them through the sales funnel.
5. Client Management: Keep track of client interactions, including communication history,
preferences, and key details, using a CRM system. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records to
facilitate effective client management and personalized follow-ups.
6. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams
to align lead generation strategies and ensure a seamless transition of leads into the sales
pipeline. Provide feedback on lead quality and effectiveness of lead generation tactics.
7. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and client
information in the CRM system. Track and report on lead generation activities, conversion rates,
and pipeline progression.
8. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry best practices and new lead
generation techniques. Continuously refine and optimize lead generation strategies based on
market feedback and data analysis.
9. You will also be responsible for maintaining client relationships and ensuring accurate
